About Dr. Dante

Dante Simpson is the Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of ESPAT. Simpson’s career in brand building, business development and growth provides ESPAT with valuable experience when it comes to evaluating and executing strategy, development marketing plans and driving brand growth. He has an in-depth understanding of strategic governance and brand development having served as a Senior Executive at domestic and international corporations.

Earlier in his career, Simpson was Sr. Vice President of North American Business Development for Sony BMG Music Entertainment, where he was responsible for monumental business development, growth and campaigning. During his tenure, Simpson developed the division’s strategies into a highly successful revenue generating business.

While serving as Vice President of Business Design and Development for The Gucci Group, Simpson implemented one of the most successful multi-channel marketing campaigns in the high-fashion industry, under the leadership of Creative Director Tom Ford.

Simpson is known for his aggressive, results-focused orientation, as well as his close working relationships with members of the media, influencers, decision makers and celebrities. Simpson’s client experience has included Mercedes Benz, Nintendo, Sprite, Anheuser-Busch, WWE, New York Islanders and others. A Billboard magazine feature story on Simpson referred to him as “The living proof that success in the entertainment industry comes in varying forms”. Simpson has been recognized by TrueNYC.com as Entrepreneur-Of-The-Month, a member of The Network Journal’s 40.

Simpson’s ability to multi-task with a concentrated level of success is evident as he currently serves on the Board of Directors for Multicultural Media Correspondents Association and several non-profit organizations while simultaneously overseeing the marketing strategies for many of the nation’s premiere brands, with a current portfolio in excess of $45 million.

Simpson earned his bachelor degree from The Ohio State University, and with his master’s degree with cum laude distinction from New York University, and has guest spoken for Sports & Entertainment Marketing and Sports/Entertainment courses. Currently, Simpson resides in New Jersey.
